On 28 October 2026, the conference “eZOP – Electronic Records of Fire Protection Equipment, Devices and Installations” was held at Hotel Aleksandar Palace in Skopje, organized by our Macedonian partner PerpetuuMobile. BORDI presented MKPPZ, the localized edition of eZOP for the North Macedonian market. The concept of a central register was also presented at the event.
Institutions, experts and businesses from the region
The conference brought together 100 participants, including representatives of ministries and institutions responsible for protection and rescue and emergency management from North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, professional associations and chambers of commerce, academia, as well as businesses and partners from across the region, including Montenegro.
The focus was on electronic records, more efficient management and alignment with European standards in fire protection.
MKPPZ in practice
The central part of the program was the presentation of the MKPPZ platform, delivered by Hristina Milkić from the Bordi team. Through practical examples, she demonstrated how the system works, from equipment registration to on-site inspections, highlighting its key features: a web portal in Macedonian, an Android application that works offline, automatic report generation, and monitoring of statutory deadlines.

The Q&A session focused on the concrete benefits eZOP, that is MKPPZ, brings to the Macedonian market: less paperwork, reliable and always available records, timely tracking of deadlines and better insight into the state of fire protection. The program also included an expert talk from the Faculty of Civil Engineering on fire protection in North Macedonia and alignment with EU standards.

Central register: from records to timely decisions
A dedicated part of the conference was devoted to the concept of a central register. Today, data on fire protection equipment, devices and installations is often scattered across paper documentation and separate records, so institutions lose time searching for information that already exists. A central register would bring together the data entered every day through platforms such as MKPPZ and give the competent institutions a single, up-to-date overview of fire protection across the whole country.
The potential applications are wide. Inspection bodies could plan oversight based on actual risk rather than a list of buildings. Protection and rescue services could quickly see what equipment and installations a building has and when they were last inspected. Decision-makers would have reliable statistics for planning measures and regulations.
Key benefits of a central register include:
- a single, up-to-date overview of fire protection at the national level,
- faster, better-informed decisions in day-to-day work and in emergencies,
- targeted oversight and better enforcement of legal obligations,
- less duplicated data and paperwork for businesses and institutions,
- easier alignment with European Union standards.

A growing partnership
The conference in Skopje continues the cooperation that began in April with the signing of a representation agreement with PerpetuuMobile and continued in May with training of their team. Today, our fire protection systems are in use in Serbia, Slovenia and North Macedonia.
Speakers and partners of the “eZOP” conference in Skopje
We thank PerpetuuMobile for the excellent organization, all speakers for their expert talks and the participants for their active engagement. We look forward to continuing our joint work on the digitalization of fire protection in North Macedonia and the region!
